With the New Year in full swing it’s the perfect excuse for a new wardrobe! But that doesn’t mean you have to splurge- Here’s what we spyed at the recent Cork fashion event Steal my Style’.

Hosted by Life’s Lust Have’s, Nessa Cotter and Retro Flame’s Erika Fox, the jam packed fashion and rail sale event took place at city hotspot, The Roxy.

We her STYLE

In the Fashion Corner with Natasha Crowley:

“I love, love, love this masterclass in working a colour pop and getting it right.  The trick is to keep your tone the same, so while this royal blue and coral couldn’t be further away on the colour chart,
the similar bright tone makes them super colour lovers.”

“Black tights, boots and a simple gold neckpiece mean that the colour is the main focus and rightly so!

Also kudos for working a dress and top to make them look like separates, we love a peekaboo collar. ”

The Hair Hour with Natasha Tynan:

“This hairstyle is simple but with a twist, just enough to pull the total look together. Instead of creating a full bouffant, Kellie has split her top section in two, pinning the hair back on either side, adding a youthful and fresh feel to her style. I also love her off centre parting and soft volume.”

“When I first saw Kellie’s hair I instantly thought- Rockabilly relaxed!

This is a quick and easy look to create and can be adapted to suit many occasions by adding a braid or curling the ends or simply adding a sparkly clip- I’m a big fan!”

Celeb Inspiration

Lauren Conrad, Miu Miu catwalk, Katy Perry.

Kellie’s Top Tip: “This style works best on hair that isn’t freshly washed. I also like using hair dust which is great for getting volume and hold.”

Check in with us next week to see whose style has snapped the spotlight! See you then, love Tash x 2!
